Workflow of Chicken Manure Pellet Production Line
The most complete chicken manure pellet production process includes eight stages: raw material processing, mixing, fermentation, crushing, granulation, drying, cooling and screening, and packaging. However, you may not need all stages in your chicken manure pellet production; customized stage design is one of RICHI’s effective services.
Below is a detailed breakdown of the chicken manure pellet production line process to help you quickly understand its workflow:

Raw Material Processing Stage
01
The production process begins with dehydrating the collected chicken manure, followed by adding appropriate proportions of straw, rice husks, and other materials.
Mixing Stage
02
After initially removing impurities, workers proportion the materials and add a special fermentation agent to ensure higher-quality chicken manure pellets.
Fermentation Stage
03
Workers transport the mixed material by vehicle and spread it into a fermentation warehouse or site, maintaining a high temperature period of 55℃-70℃ for 10 days. They use a trough-type turning machine to turn and ferment the material.
Crushing Stage
04
Workers transport the fermented material to the crushing silo, where they use a vertical crusher to crush it into extremely fine particles for better granulation.
Pelletizing Section
05
The mixed material enters the granulation hopper, is fed into the feed trough, and then falls into the granulation chamber to produce chicken manure pellets.
Drying Section
06
The granulated material then moves to the dryer. A hot air furnace and a biomass pellet burner power the flat dryer, with a fire extinguisher at the front end introducing hot air into the drying drum to dry the chicken manure pellets.
Cooling and Screening Section
07
In the cooling chamber, fans mechanically draw in natural air, which penetrates and cools the chicken manure pellets. After cooling, the pellets pass through a screener and then fall onto an elevator. The buckets in the elevator transport the refined pellets to the packaging hopper.
Packaging Section
08
The pellets in the packaging hopper fall into the packaging system below for packaging, forming finished fertilizer that is easy to transport.

Frequently Asked Questions
Various problems may arise during the equipment procurement and use of a chicken manure pellet production line. Below are some frequently asked questions that may be helpful:
1.How much does it cost to invest in a chicken manure pellet Plant?
+
Chicken manure pellet production lines are generally divided into small, medium, and large lines.
Small lines have a production capacity of 1-2 tons/hour, with equipment investment costs ranging from $20,000 to $100,000.
Medium lines have a production capacity of 3-5 tons/hour, with equipment investment costs ranging from $140,000 to $300,000.
Large lines have a production capacity of 8-15 tons/hour, with equipment investment costs ranging from $400,000 to $1,400,000.
Furthermore, among our clients, building a chicken manure pellet plant typically requires not only investing in the complete set of equipment but also considering the initial plant construction, plant design, and subsequent sales and operations. Therefore, the investment cost for each client will vary. For specific details, you can contact us for a free consultation.
2.How long do the core components (molds and bearings) of a RICHI chicken manure production line last?
+
Our core components include ring dies, pressure rollers, and bearings. The ring dies are made of 42CrMo, with an average lifespan of 800-1500 hours.
The pressure rollers have an average lifespan of 600-1200 hours, and the bearings are SKF bearings with an average lifespan of 2000-4000 hours.
3.What are the moisture requirements for the raw materials used in chicken manure pellet mills?
+
The moisture content of the fermented raw materials needs to be controlled at around 20%-30%.
A good indicator is that you can easily form a ball of the pre-treated raw material by hand; if it crumbles easily when you release it, the moisture content is sufficient.
4.What are the prospects for chicken manure pellet production lines?
+
Chicken manure pellet production lines are a type of organic fertilizer pellet production line. Currently, the global chicken manure pellet plant market is experiencing a period of rapid growth.
By 2026, the chicken manure fertilizer market is projected to reach $2 billion, and the high demand for organic fertilizer is driving the need for innovation in upstream production equipment.
