Feeding System

Protection system

If an overload occurs during pelleting, the safety pin will break immediately, triggering the limit switch for an emergency shutdown. Ring Die

It is equipped with interchangeable ring dies, allowing pellet sizes to be adjusted from 2 to 12 mm. Pelletizing System
In a sheep pellet machine, the ring die, pressure roller, and cutter are key components for pellet formation and are subject to wear. For this reason, we use 42CrMo, a high wear-resistant alloy steel, for these parts, followed by a carburizing treatment on the surface. Compared to ordinary carbon steel commonly used on the market, the service life can be extended by 2–3 times, helping reduce the costs associated with equipment replacement.

Drive System
The RICHI sheep feed pellet mill uses a high-efficiency Siemens motor, which provides power to the entire machine. During operation, it ensures stable torque output regardless of the amount or consistency of the feed or its texture. Even when processing high-resistance materials such as hay, the pellets produced remain uniform in size.

Cleaning
When raw materials are first delivered, they often contain various impurities. At this stage, we use cleaning equipment such as cylindrical pre-cleaning screens to thoroughly remove these impurities.

Crushing
A raw material size of 3–5 mm is ideal for pelleting. If the size falls outside this range, we need to add a grinding step. The equipment used for this step mainly includes pulverizing machines, such as water droplet pulverizers.

Mixing
To produce nutritionally balanced sheep feed pellets, the raw material formulation is often diverse. In this process, the mixer evenly blends each ingredient, ensuring every batch of pellets remains consistent.

Drying
When the materials are too wet, the pellets may not form properly. In this case, a dryer reduces the moisture content to around 13%–15%. If the raw material is dry, you can skip this step entirely.

Pelletizing
Then, the materials enter the pelleting chamber, where the ring die and pressure rollers compress them into strips, and the cutter cuts them to the required length. and pressure.

Cooling
The freshly made granules are 80-90 degrees Celsius and still very soft. So, for easier storage and transportation, you can use a cooling machine to cool and shape the finished granules.

Screening
The final granules then enter the screening system. If the granules are not up to size, workers do not waste them. Instead, they return them to the production line.

Packaging
Finally, workers package the qualified feed pellets. Depending on your needs, you can choose automatic or manual packaging.
