How does a grass pellet mill work?
Overall, using a Miscanthus pellet mill is very convenient. The entire process only requires manual feeding of the material into the feed inlet. The material then undergoes three stages: feeding, extrusion, and discharge, ultimately producing high-density, compact combustible pellets.
1. Feeding and Adjustment:
Before pelleting, the Miscanthus undergoes pre-treatment such as crushing and drying. Then, the feeding speed is adjusted according to the material characteristics, and the feeder evenly delivers the material into the pelleting chamber.
2. Extrusion Molding:
At high temperature, the Miscanthus gradually softens. The continuously rotating pressure rollers press it into the die holes, forming cylindrical strips.
3. Cutting and Discharge:
The cutter quickly cuts the strips of material into uniformly sized combustible pellets.

Miscanthus Organic fertilizer granules
The miscanthus granulator processes miscanthus into cylindrical organic fertilizer granules. These granules do not quickly disintegrate upon contact with water, effectively preserving the cellulose and organic matter in the raw material. Miscanthus feed pellets
Miscanthus is not typically made directly into feed pellets. It is generally suitable for blending with corn, soybean meal, and premixes to create a complete feed. Raw material collection and cleaning
