To understand a twin screw extrusion machine, you can start by learning how it works. This is an important step in determining if the equipment is suitable for your needs. Afterward, employees only need to place the material into the feed inlet, and the conical twin screw extruder can automatically perform conveying, mixing, shearing, heating, pressurizing, and extrusion molding.
The variable frequency feeding system continuously delivers material to the DDC-Conditioner, where it undergoes steam curing, effectively increasing feed yield.
The material then enters the extrusion chamber. Two screws rotate synchronously, propelling the material forward.
During the conveying process, the screws compress against each other, generating shearing, extrusion, and frictional forces that form uniform clumps of material.
During this process, the pressure inside the chamber gradually increases. As the material passes through the die orifice, it expands rapidly and is then cut into uniform sizes by a cutter, forming high-quality pellets.
